Course Description

This accelerated-learning course focuses on speeding up participants’ preparation time and significantly improve their chance to acquire PMI-ACP®. Participants will benefit from understanding the Agile concepts and in improving their performance at work.

The approach of this training workshop focuses on shifting from memorizing to internalizing concepts though real life example and scenarios. This allows participants to improve their chances to pass the exam and to practice the Agile Mindset and principles at work.

Domain I. Agile Principles and Mindset

  • Understand the agile mindset, values and principles, and learn how promote them with customer and team.
  • Promote common understanding and common terminology of the agile values and principles with stakeholders.
  • Practice strategies to enhance transparency and trust by applying high visible information radiators to show progress.
  • Learn how to create safe and secure environment by allowing team members to experiment and make mistakes from which they learn to improve results.
  • Enable creativity in others by encouraging them to take challenging leadership role and by getting them to collaborate and share knowledge with others to reduce risks and bottlenecks.
  • Understand what it means to embrace the role of “servant” leader so that team members will perform to their highest capacity.

Domain II. Value-Driven Delivery

  • Understand how to define deliverables that could be incrementally produced so that they maximize the value to stakeholders.
  • Gain consensus on requirements and their acceptance criteria that would deliver value.
  • Explore how to plan and deliver small releases by organizing them into minimally marketable features/minimally viable products to allow for early delivery.

  • Apply periodic review to get team members understand stakeholders’ expectations, and promote knowledge sharing early in the project and throughout project implementation.
